Spring is here

Hi guys and happy Tuesday.  I have a bright colorful gift set to share today made for Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts.  A happy card and matching little spool birdhouse.

These two pieces came together very easy using the sweet For the Birds set.  I left most of the pieces the natural kraft but painted my little eggs with chalk paint to have them stand out.

I sanded and distressed the eggs a bit and nestled them in the nest.

I added a few bright stickers, flowers, and ribbon and was done.

Wouldn't this make a sweet Spring pick me up for someone?  Thanks for visiting.  Cherry

An Owl hello

Hi there Cheery Lynn peeps! I have a fun card for you today.  I fell head over heels in love when I found this owl.  Didn't take much to make it cute.  I ran it through my die machine twice to add a little detail to her.

I used the card maker rectangle classic nesting dies layered on top of each other.  Added foam adhesive to make my owl dimensional.  Some seam binding and lace were added.

For a little more detail I added a flower from the Mehndi Botanicals 3 die set stacked with a button and twine.

Last thing to do was to add a sentiment from the Bohemian word set. Cute, simple, and a little sweet! thanks for visiting today.  Hugs, Cherry

At the Farm Caddy

Hello midweek and hello Gypsy Soul Laser Cut Peeps.  I have a fun project for you today.  Do you love farmhouse goodies?  I do.  My dream has always been to live in an old farmhouse.  While I can't at the moment do that...the next best thing is anything that makes your home feel farmhouse.  I started with the Tool Caddy.

I painted the whole caddy with grey chalk paint.  From here I adhered all my pieces using my Beacon glue.

Using my vintage iron to keep the corners glues together...hey whatever works...right?

Next I traced all my papers by using the caddy as my template and cut the paper out.  I also painted one of my little embellishments the stackable labels shape set with white chalk paint.

I than adhered my papers and distressed the edges a bit.

I than added my  cow recipe card to the front of the caddy and added my farm faux typewriter keys to the top of a label.  From here I created a couple of fun little matching tags to tie to the top of my caddy and painted a little mini mason jar that just happens to have a cow on it as well and I was done.  Here they are complete.

Thanks for coming by and visiting!  Cherry
