Lamp shade that is! I actually got the ole sewing machine out yesterday and made a slipcover for my lamp shade. Used the instructions in Romantic Sewing for the post part. Please pray for me that I don't succumb to Decorating ADD and end up not finishing the lamp on the other bed side table! I am VERY guilty of that at times....although I am trying really hard not to be. Follow through Cherry...follow through....... Wonderful Wednesday to All! cherry
Hi, Cherry! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. You're one of my new favorites!!

That is too cute! Promise to post a picture of both lamps together! How is that for keeping you motivated to finish the other :)
ReplyDeleteGreat lampshade Cherry! I really like the buckets on the table too.

Oh, I adore your new slipcovered lampshade! I dream of being able to slipcover things in my own home. My mother is an awesome seamstress, but I never had the patience for it as a kid. I'm thinking that I want it bad enough now and will someday actually sew the things I want!
ReplyDeleteHi Sweet Cherry! I love that slipcover! I've been looking for a lampshade for a lamp of mine..I found it at Goodwill..I left the dirty old shade there..I need a shade..I've been looking for a old wire frame..to have a shade made out of a vintage tablecloth..didn't know it was going to be so hard! Love your slipcover!
