WHOAAAAA now...you all know I can't help myself when it comes to boxes and pumpkins.. I put them together. Actually I put a lot of stuff with boxes....but I digress. Remember last year? It started here http://cherrysjubileehome.blogspot.com/2008/09/what-does-this.html anyways....for old times sake...and the fact that I was Inspired by this lady after she made one of my pumpkin men boxes and cones http://thehouseofwhimsy.blogspot.com/ with her ingenious idea of using prefab heads.. so to speak...I tried it this time. So cool when one person is inspired by you...and that person in turn inspires you too. Anyways I thought I would share him today. I put a fuzzy spider on top of his hat..and did a cylinder box for fun. Also while I am at it thought I would share with you my Halloween goodies in the kitchen. A few new items this year...a couple of bobble heads...and that tall pumpkin dressed like a witch. Fell in love with them after seeing them over at Rachel's pad http://eoberrys.blogspot.com/ ....she said they came from Safeway...so while I was in town yesterday...had to stop at Safeway.. They are just adorable. The one on the silver tray is from TJ Maxx...they really have gotten some adorable things this year as well. Well that is it for now. I have another little project to share...hopefully tomorrow. Have a wonderful evening....snuggle up with a good fuzzy blanket if you can. It has gotten very cold here in the Northwest. XOXO, Cherry
****** I also am going to be offering 20% off my Halloween goodies in etsy**** if there is anything you have your eye on.....grab it now. I am going to start adding my Thanksgiving and some Christmas goodies. I am all caught up with shipping and if you buy within the next few days..I will get everything out MONDAY...so you can still enjoy it this year.
Oh my goodness, I love all your pictures and fall/Halloween items...just lovely!

ReplyDeleteHi Cherry,
ReplyDeleteJust catching up since we got back in town. LOVE your new pumpkin head on a box!!
Yes, I remember well, Holly's story and pumpkins last year. I gave her and Rachel credit again when I first posted about making them again this year (9/23)...then left a comment on Rachel's blog telling her (9/30).
The post you saw was my second batch which included the squatty velvet ones I saw in Shops last year. But my favorites will always be the ones Holly was so kind to give a tutorial for last year. I gave her credit and typed out her long web address in my 9/14/08 post last year. I'll always be grateful to her for sharing.
All your vignettes look fantastic!
Such wonderful eye candy! I love the way you used the kitchen scale. -Jackie
