Time for blog hopping with RRR. You should have found your way here from Leslie's blog. If at anytime you find yourself lost just make your way back to the RRR blog link below. This month's Welcome Spring mix of ribbons is just that...a wonderful "hello" to Spring!!! Which makes me soooo happy to see after the Winter we had this year.
I first created a bright "oh so happy" card using the gorgeous yellows in the ribbon mix along with a mix of papers and diecuts. I topped my ribbons off with a Tea Rose.
My other project is an altered egg. I found it forlorn in a second hand store and tore off all the doodads that were on it. I nestled a little fussy cut rabbit inside and wrapped the edges with tulle trim along with some handmade paper fringe that I sprayed with Tattered Angels spray. I added both the roses with scalloped edge grosgrain pearl pink ribbon and the satin with grosgrain edge Pearl Pink ribbon from the mix to the top of my egg and added just a bit of Moss Green seam binding for contrast. From there I added a mix of flowers from my stash along with sweetheart blossoms in pink and berry clusters in pink. My egg is a bit over the top foo foo...but oh so fun and full of Easter charm. It reminds me of something my Mama would have put in my Easter basket when I was little. Ok my paper peeps....that is it for me on this blog hop...your next visit is back to the RRR blog. Have fun and enjoy everyone's projects! hugs, cherry
