rock a bye baby

Hi there....got a sweet baby bag to share for RRR.  Starting with a plain burlap bag...I decked it out with images, chipboard, paper flower , buttons, vintage wood block,  and flowers.   I used pink crochet lace, baby pink seam binding, and pink gingham.  Hope you enjoy!  cherry

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh happy day!  It is time for a RRR blog hop.   You should have arrived here from Teresa's blog.   I absolutely love these club ribbons...they make me smile!  lady bugs and butterflies...what's not to love?  I created a card and some matching little tags.  Using different pattern papers and 3d foam tabs for dimension.  I added cute little mini lady bugs and vintage ball buttons. I  also had to add some lipstick red  seam binding of course.  Next stop is Jen's blog.  Have fun!  cherry

summer in session..

Tomorrow is my son's last day of his sophomore year.  This means a little flexibility in our schedules.   Which is very much welcomed at the moment.   Now if only my allergies would let up!
With Summer soon in session I created this ultra bright and sweet gift bag for someone special.  I used the Polka dot big bitty bags as my base.  I layered a paper border and homemade paper fringe at the bottom along with a doily, diecuts, and a rosette made with the Scor-buddy mini tablet.   My fun ribbons come from this months ribbon club assortment .    Hope you enjoy!   Cherry

1930s Chic

Hello there!   Summer is almost here...thank you mother nature!   I have a little altered cabinet card today featuring RRR ribbon.   I mixed old...very old laces with the natural burlap with wire in black.   I added vintage buttons including a gorgeous oldie rhinestone , stick pins, old scissors, and a sweet art deco charm piece I have been hoarding.  My background paper is gorgeous...and is Crafty Secrets.   I hung my piece from white seam binding that I aged a bit with ink.   Love the soft nuetrals.   Great piece to hang in the craft room or sewing room!  Enjoy, cherry
