Easter Wishes

                        Hello!  I have a post up at RRR sharing this sweet Easter plaque.  I started with a sturdy chipboard scroll base that I covered in polka dot papers, sanded the edges , and inked them a bit.  I added tinsel and silver metallic grosgrain around the canvas image.  I also added some homemade paper fringe and a big fluffy flower.  I wanted to add some more character so I added more silver grosgrain along with seam bindings in bay leaf and baby pink along with a sweet metal rimmed tag , a vintage button, and some sweetheart blossoms in pink.  Love the vintage feel the silver grosgrain adds to this little project!  Enjoy, cherry

New challenge at RRR

                 Happy Friday and Happy first official day of Spring!  We have a new fun challenge over at RRR.  It is a bright Spring colors and ribbon challenge.   I made a simple little mini card and envelope ensemble.  Trying some CAS out but not very good at it!  I used faux burlap in white along with May arts denim ribbon on my first card.   On my second card I used seam bindings in rose petal and baby pink along with some velvet.  Two fun but diffrent takes on the challenge.  Hope Spring is poppin its head in where ever you are!  Enjoy and make sure to check out everyone's take on the challenge and please join us!!!!   Cherry

Puppies and elephants

               Happy Monday...beginning of the week yet again!  I have a couple of cute tags to share with you, made for RRR.   I used Spellbinder dies with 3d foam adhesive for dimension along with mini doilies, buttons, sweetheart blossoms, cute little fussy cut retro images from a Children's book.  The ribbons I used include seam binding in lipstick red, baby pink, and rose.  I also used Swiss dots in pink. to hang my tags from.  Fun and cute!  Enjoy, cherry

Really Reasonable Ribbon blog hop

                         Happy blog hop day!  You should have found your way here from Kathy's blog.  If at anytime you find yourself lost ....start back at the RRR blog.   This month's candy confection of  club ribbons remind me of bright Easter candies or eggs!  I used three of the Ribbons to decorate my cute little card!  I stayed in the aquas and whites.  Full of happy Spring tidings!  I didn't use a lot of paper and let my little pinwheel and ribbons stand front and center!  I added a little detail by embossing the background before adhering my doily.  Added a simple sentiment and mini pom pom and was done!  Your next stop is back at the RRR blog.   Have fun ya'll!  Cherry

Easter tags

             


                             Hello to you this fine Thursday!  I have a couple of Easter tags for you RRR peeps!  Paper layers, fussy cut images, dimension using adhesive, sweetheart blossoms, buttons, and seam bindings, along with sheer ribbon in polka dots .   These would be cute tied to an Easter basket, Easter package, or personalize for Easter dinner place cards.
