Is it Friday Yet?

TGIF???????? As some of you know I am not a morning person so this getting up at 6:30 am is quite traumatic for me. This is the time I have to get my 4th grader up and going for school. We are in a rural area and he is almost on the bus an hour before getting to school. Anyway I thought I would share a few little projects I have finished this week. It is these small little triumphs that keep a girl going. Now I am a simple sewer...can't do anything fancy. A nice straight seam line will do me just fine. Used some scrap fabric leftover from my drapery project in family room (note to self to finish THAT drapery project). The white craftsmen door needed some red...of course. I lined it with a white damask tablecloth that I had so from the other side (front door is red) the white pops nicely against the red. Are you tired of the transfers yet? Well obviously I am not. I used some more of them to make an Autumn banner. Used some stamps and other scrap book goodies to adorn it. I must say I LOVE my crop-a-dile & Cricket! They are good for so many things. Last but not least in my book.. is my little garage sale milk glass container bought for a buck. Rub-oned the letters spelling goodies. You can't see it all in pics but you get the idea. Using it for candy of course. That is a little of what this broad has been up to....so how about you? Let's hear it! xoxo, cherry

Wow, you are a busy little crafting girl! Love your ideas!

I finally played the game you tagged me for. Or I should say, I made up my own version. Sorry to bend the rules, but I did give 10 facts about me so I wasn't stingy! :-)

Thanks Cherry, for tagging me! Have a great weekend!

Love your GOODIES container...I also think it is a wonderful idea to use rub on letters...where do you get yours? Great Autumn banner, too! I also love your new curtain...I saw pillows very similar in pattern at Target that I'm thinking about getting for my living room. Thanks for sharing your pictures, Cherry!

The valance is great but I love the dish with the GOODIES on it. Those rub on letters are great aren't they. I just used some on little terracotta pots.

I love, love, love your autumn banner.........would you please tell me how you did it? I don't have a creative bone in my body but would like to make (attempt) a banner. Also, love your goodies. Wish I could find such cute stuff at our thrift stores but so far all I've found is truly JUNK! I've just discovered your site and will visit often!
