A few great pumpkins...BUT no Charlie Brown

I am doing things simple this year....I have added some faux pumpkins here and there....and have a few areas I am setting up a few Halloween decorations..and that is going to be it. I thought I would share my FALL primping in the entry area. Nothing fancy by any means...but enough to let you know FALL is making her debut. I was trying to warm up the space a bit today. If I have time and don't have a lot of distractions..I love to tweak and play around with vignettes..but if I have interuptions...such as 3 boys, a dog, a cat, and a husband who is out of town...it can be hard. I just got done making them cookies...so I think they are good for now. Cookies make everything "all good".
The next couple of days I will be adding the last of my Halloween goodies to my etsy store...and that will be it for this year. The first few things you see above will be making their way over to the store in a few. I made a sweet nostalgic ornament set...I like to hang them from any little nook or cranny. I also made another bingo card..they are so fun to make and another mini bingo banner. So hope all is well with you all this Saturday night. I am going to go watch Turner home classics and do some crafting...if the boys, the dog, and the cat will let me. xoxo, Cherry
EDITED TO ADD: I joined up with Ms. Kim's Project Monday! Go over and take a look at some gorgeous redos, crafts, and awesome projects! http://twiceremembered.blogspot.com/?

Your vignettes are lovely and simple... simple, for me at least, is the way to go. Even at Christmas I keep the decorations simple. The white tureen with the gourds is very nice!

I guess you and I could have a debate as to the "nothing fancy" part of your decorating. Okay, it may not be fancy, but it is simple, beautiful, so well put together and very creatively done. If you were my neighbor, I would want to work out a bartering system with you. I'll bake for you, you decorate for me. Another artistic post!

Wow! The snaps you shared were gorgeous! Very inspirational! Makes me want to create something. I can certainly identify with your interruptions from the men in your home. Seems I get nothing done when my boys and hubby's home!

Thanks for great "eye candy". I just love your blog!

Hi Cherry,
I hope you had a good week! I love the way you decorate for fall and Halloween! Have I already said this? Probably, because it's always so beautiful at your home! And I am loving that amazing arrangement of the bench with the shelf above it, and every detail you added makes it just perfect.

I have noticed it before but never said anything~ I love how you "striped" your wall. In this post I got a better look of the wall with the golden color on top and it's wonderful! For those of us who are trying to turn ugly into pretty in our old homes, it is inspiring to see what you do, and what "finished" looks like! Someday I hope our little home looks as "together" as yours! It looks so peaceful and orderly and LOVELY! :) Thank you for sharing your home with us! Have a beautiful weekend! :)
