altered state of mind

Love to take things and make them my own....put my own stamp on it so to speak.  Altering is def. my fave thing in the paper art world.  Taking something plain jane and embellishing it to fit in with your decorating style or customize it for someone special.   Toooo cool!  Just two little projects tonight that started out kraft and ended up soft and sweet.   Are you altering anything of your own?  Do share!
Other than that ...I am counting down the days...6 to be exact before I get to venture off to a new place...do a little traveling and get the heck out of dodge..and the heck out of the snow.  Give you a little hint...it is tropical.   Sigh...........can't wait!  Well my duckies that is it for me this friday evening.  Hugs, cherry

Love your altered boxes--just breathtaking! I have plans to alter an old painters box that I picked up from a tag sale for $1.00. Right now I store my wooden stamps in it. It won't be as decadent as your boxes though, I'm thinking more along the lines of a Claudine Hellmuth collage. Have a wonderful trip!

My word, your projects are gorgeous, Cherry! I just LOVE them!
And I'm so happy for you that you get to jet off someplace tropical in a few days. Will be such a treat after all your snow. :)
Have a great weekend, my friend.

Wow Cherry girl this is beautiful, soft and so sweet. I'm loving it. So glad you get to get out of the cold for a bit...it will do your creative thinking some good...instead of shaking from the cold!
blessings,
Debbie

ADORABLE! I just got out my Valentine's Day decorations and found some of your creations. Love them as much now as I did then. Mimi

As always, your creation is beautiful. I love your work. So inspiring. We'll all be a bit jealous that you'll be basking in warm sun and waters soon. Enjoy!
