Today you are you...

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh today you are you....that is truer than true... sweet Dr. Suess ..what a wise man!   I felt this sweet sing songy saying today...going about my work doing what makes my heart happy.  I was truer than true today within myself.   I can't be anymore me than when I create.   I know many of you know just what I mean.    I was in that zone.....it was snowing out ...and I felt bliss.   I hope I am always able to feel this from time time.  That reconnection.   I just had to share this with you...and my goodies today!  A couple of cards...and a card set pocket made from a bakery sleeve.  I apparantly was feeling the pink today.   Good heavens...lots of pink up in here!  Lots of paper scraps, homemade flowers, buttons, and little wooden spools painted up, found in the craft section of JoAnns.  I dusted off the cobwebs on one of my embossing folders again...and ran the bakers sleeve and a doily through  my diecut machine.  Subtle and soft....I am loving them again and the bit of detail they give a project.  Other than that some October Afternoon embellies and my projects were complete.
I love anything sewing theme....my Mom is a big time sewer or was until her eyesight started to go.  She use to sew and crochet many of my doll clothes.   I will always love fabric and anything to do with sewing notions.  They will always remind me of her.   Well that is it for me this evening....hope you enjoy!  If there is anything you would like to ask , don't hesitate!   hugs, cherry

So inspired by your beautiful blog! One question...do you hold tight the mini ribbon bows with needle and thread or wire? Thank You for sharing your talent. May you have extra creative ideas this week! Love it all.

Okay, I have been here 3 times now and forgot to leave a comment. Ha!

They are all beautiful. I love the tiny spools on the banner. I made a wall hanging last night for an upcoming project. I have strayed from a lot of my original shabby creations. I feel a lot more coming in my future. :)
Hugs~

Det hvide/lyserøde er måske nok lidt lillepige agtig, men jeg gamle kone på 76, holder også af det. v.h. morkaren.

Beautiful set, Cherry. I love the pink on pink look and yours are just gorgeous! My mother loved to sew and made many of my skirts and dresses for years. My sewing machine now sits on her old table and I use her bench as well. Her old patterns and books with handwriting in the margins are kept safely in a box next to her Singer machine. All wonderful memories ... thank you for bringing them back to me.

Hi Cherry!
Oh my gosh, I am in love with all your creations, especially your sewing pocket. Do you think you could create one for me as a custom order on Etsy? I would love to purchase one as a gift for my mom. You can email me at DYNESNL1@comcast.net
Sincerely,

Hi Cherry!
I am in awe of your projects. I absolutely adore each and every one! On this project you have a very pretty die cut, it's behind the "Churchgate" die cut - the one with the pretty gingham ribbon and the button pin. You also used it on your "Thank Heaven for Little Girls" card you did on another recent card. I would love to know where it came from or the collection it's from! Thank you, Cherry, for all the fantastic inspiration. I tell everyone I know about your blog! Sharon :D
