Spring break

Happy mid-week to you.  I have been trying in vain to fight off a bug.   I have a horrible dry cough..don't know if it is allergies or a virus.  Either way I wish it would go away.   It is Spring break here and I am so happy to have my son home with me.   He is my buddy and I love having him around.   We plan on going and seeing the Hunger Games soon...anyone seen it?  I thought I would share a few things with you.  Nothing exciting...a card and plaque.   The card is made using my fave stamp from The Rubber Cafe the mini mason jar.  I have a lot of fun with this stamp...I added a image from http://www.etsy.com/shop/iralamijashop and some lace and a chipboard button.   I also used a stamp from http://ninabdesigns.blogspot.com/p/crafts-meow-stamp-designs.html  the gorgeous sew lovely stamp set.  I can't stop using it.   I Love it!  I have had several of you ask about it.  I think it is my fave sewing stamp set ever.   I added a vintage crochet doily snippet although you can't really see it and some ribbons and stickpins.  The other is just a little plaque using my fave Maya road pieces.  I have made plaques from these for years now and never tire of this label style.  I used some chipboard pieces from October Afternoon and papers from the Scrapcake.   Well that is it for me.  I need to go take some theraflu.   I hope all is well with you!  I would love to hear from you...I notice so many of you come by but don't leave a comment.  Don't be shy!  hugs, cherry

This card is colourful and beautiful. I impress by using ribbons, a chipboard button and stick pins in this card. Its looks so different to others.

Hi Cherry,
I hope you feel better soon! We've had the bug going around in our family too. I went with my son to see The Hunger Games last weekend. We both loved it. We are huge fans of the books. I am also a huge fan of YOU! I love EVERYTHING you create! It is such a treat to visit your blog and see what lovely surprise is in store!!
Hugs,
Nancy

I have never left a message, shame on me, I have adored your cards for many, many months now. I adore all the intricate details. What patience it must take to put them all together. Great job! Hope you feel better soon, Easter is on its way!!
