Homespun Christmas...

Hi there.....here today to share a card for The Rubber Cafe .  I just can't resist a homespun look for Christmas.  A good ole country Christmas.  I used the Christmas Tidings set for my main image and the sentiment.  There are some of the sweetest images...old fashion and nostalgic.   I stitched around the image and did a little bit of coloring.  I have one copic...yep ...one.   It did the job though.  I added a few layers....doily, diecut , and of course some ribbons and jingle bells!  I can't wait to play  more with the rest of the images in this stamp set...sooo pretty.   Hope you enjoy!  hugs, cherry

Love the mix of the paper patterns, the beautiful bow, twine and jingle bells... lovely!
You're one up on me with the Copics... I've been coloring with my old reliable... Distress Ink. I bought a package of Ranger Craft Nibs and am using them in place of a brush. Easy blending tool.
Have a wonderful evening!
Hugs!

So pretty. How do you ship your cards? I was just curious because they are heavy and large. It is hard to find good packaging when I ship my cards to family. I am at lsuddert@edd.ca.gov. I love your cards so much. You are such an inspiration to all of us crafters.
Thanks, Laura

Glad to see someone else sees the Houndstooth pattern as one that is a cold weather pattern too! VERY PRETTY!!!!!!!!! :)

The next time I'm in Ashland you will have to meet me! That would be so much fun!! I had a great time. We didn't make it to Jackson ville but I've been there before and LOVE it!! Theres a antique pickle jar in one of the stores there I tried to buy, but he wasn't selling :-(. I always LOVE all your cards, they are so gorgeous!!
