The Dilemma

Wow.   Did you all fall off the face of the earth?   Does anyone come visit anymore...or should I close this ole blog down?   I hope someone is out there.  From my blog count there are a  lot of visitors but hardly anyone actually comments.   I know we are all busy but it is a bit disconcerting like I am talking to myself.  Hmmmm.
I came by tonight to share some cards...I have quite the dilemma between Santas and snowmen.  Which is my favorite?  One minute I swear it is good ole frosty and the next....Kris Kringle.  So the struggle continues.  I have been trying in vain to use some of my stash....I have quite a huge Christmas stash...like I am sure many ofyou do.   I do not need one single new thing....but who was buying a few new sheets of Christmas paper today at our local scrapbook store?  Me.  yep.  I can't help  myself.   I surely can not say no to those lovely old victorian images of Santa....my wheels spin with ideas for St Nick.   So they come home with me.
Another dilemma?  Color combos.  REDS and BLUES...bestill my heart...but than traditional reds and greens...ohhh jeese....... I will save that for another day!   Hope you enjoy!  OHHHHHH and lurkers could you please say hi???     Hugs, cherry

I'm so guilty of not commenting...but I just want to say these cards are lovely...as is all of your work. I love shopping in your etsy shop. I am so guilty of buying more than I use. My sister says I have my own Michael's store here in the house.

Guilty as charged! I love your work, but read the blog through Google in the mornings with my coffee and that makes commenting several clicks beyond me. If I promise not to be so lazy, will you promise not to shut it down?

Hi stumbled on your blog only a week or so ago - I too am experiencing a downturn in comments on my blog too but are still getting lots of hits. Take heart that folks are coming to visit if not commenting xx Love your style these are gorgeous xx

I'm someone who has been enjoying ALL of your fantastic work and not letting you know. Thank you for all of the work you do in sharing your beautiful creations.

Hi Cherry... Your cards are darling. I know how you feel about comments! But my issue would be to get people to my blog first off. No one leaves comments anymore, maybe it's because there are so many blogs to visit? Your cards are such an inspiration to me. Please keep sharing them ...I would be very disappointed if you were gone.

Your creations are definitely some of my favorites and I hope they continue as you are very inspiring. Thank you for sharing with us lurkers.

My blog comments have been going down for about a year...I personally think it's because people are reading more on their phones and it's not as easy or convenient to comment from that platform. I've been a long time reader and enjoy the photos but would engage more if there was more "personal" talk -- I tend to like that on blogs. Also, I don't think I've ever gotten a response from you when I've commented on your blog, so that makes a difference, too. Not complaining, just trying to help explain why I don't comment much. I love all your art!!

I am a newbie to your site and enjoy seeing your great creations. I will admit, I am not a " comment writer" on anyone's blog. I guess I need to start doing that.

Hi Cherry! I must admit I feel like I have fallen off the face of the earth. I have not written on my own blog for weeks and even then it was a quick sorry for not posting kind of note. I am not even really sure why, but I have not been in the mood to blog or hop lately. That being said, I am subscribed to your blog by email and blogger and I open my emails from you every time I get one and my mouth just drops open every time! Everything you create is so gorgeous and just want I want to do, but I don't know how. I love your style, the way you layer things, all the vintage goodies! Everything! As for your dilemma, do you have to choose? LOL - I love both vintage Santas and snowmen and have a collection of both :) I am thinking red and green for Santa and red and blue for snowmen - the best of both worlds! Now, you will probably be sorry you told me say hi cuz I have just gushed a whole page! But I truly do love your work and even when I don't have time to look at any other blogs, I always look at yours! Take care and know that I am always here and will try to speak up more often :) Hugs!

I would absolutely die if you closed your blog down. and here I thought you were probably over whelmed with comments. I love hearing about where you find all your sweet supplies and digis. I love your style and creation.I'm stalking your etsy and blog at least 3 times a day. My coffee time would not be the same with you.

No, don't you EVER close down your blog, Cherry!! What would we DO?
Love, love your holiday cards! I can relate with your Santa/Snowman dilemma. I have the same one, especially with ornaments on my tree. Started by thinking I would only have Santas.....but lots of snowmen have somehow snuck in. Guess I just want it all. :)
Your cards are STUNNING!

Where are these gorgeous images from?!

I am the same as you... and not exclusive to Christmas... I just love patterned papers, even though I am being taken over by them!! :)

These are all SO gorgeous, and while I love each of them, I definitely love the blue and red combo the most - I wouldn't think to combine those, but it works SO perfectly!

Like Char said up above, we are here, Cherry...and admiring, and oohing and aahing...then scampering off to do what we were supposed to really be doing while we were oohing and aahing and forgetting to comment! LOL

I'm very much like you...still have a HUGE stash of Christmas card supplies. I think I could make cards for 5 years and still have some left. But I still can't resist the new Christmas papers, and I know the next trip to my LSS will have some new papers coming home with me!

I'm a big fan of your wonderful work....and I promise to do better about letting you know from now on!

Oh Cherry, this breaks my heart that you feel this way:-(
You provide so very very much inspiration and total eye candy with everything you do-I so look forward to my email alerts and relish each piece you make. I am very guilty of lurking-partly because I can't work out how to shut down my old never used blog and reply with my new neglected blog, lol. I think by the response you got with this you have shaken a lot of us up and we will be much better behaved and stop lurking and start showing some comment love!
