Happy Monday! I popped in to Pti's make it Monday with Melissa Phillips and watched her tutorial on making these fabric trees. I just had to try my hand at one...which actually ended up being three. They are addicting! I has so much fun ripping up my fabric and ribbon and putting it together. These remind me of rag garlands that I use to make. Mine came out quite bushy...I am use to Douglas Firs around here (smile). I also decided to use the fabric strips for something different and instead of making a tree I made a fabric border for my first card. I loved the sweet out come of this and will be doing that again in a different color scheme. I love how being inspired by someone leads down a whole new avenue. It is a snowball effect and it just keeps on giving! Enjoy! Hugs, cherry

I saw the same tutorial by Melissa Phillips. Can't wait to try it out. Yours turned out lovely! I really adore how you used the fabric as your trim on the card - very pretty!
This is wonderful! Love your colors!!!
