Visions of Sugar plums day three!!!

Well folks...it is the third and final day of the Visions of Sugar Plums  blog hop.  I have had so much fun and hope you did too!  I want to thank Lori for letting me tag along.  I have discovered new to me blogs and so much inspiration!  I think we have all made some new friends.
Now remember to comment on all the blogs for a chance to win all the awesome prizes from the sponsors.  Also we would love to have you join in the challenge...you can do so here
My two projects were so fun to make and I am really gonna be sad to see Christmas come and go yet again.  I have really enjoyed making my mason jar lid ornaments and this is one of my favorites.  I fussy cut a sweet retro bird image (love that cute sentiment) and added a lot of dimension with foam adhesive, tinsel, ribbons from RRR, and lots of little berries and jingle bells.  My other project is pure whimsy.....I used papers/stickers from October Afternoon and Raspberry road.  I found the fence at a second hand store.  I painted it and added faux snow for detail.  I love finding lost and forgotten little things and giving them a home in my art.  Well...I am sad to say that is it for me today.  Enjoy all the creations out there!  Hugs, cherry

Oh you have got to be kidding me? You found that fence at a second hand store...LOL..I freaking love that! I just found a miniature vintage street light in a plastic drawer at the Salvation Army yesterday and snagged that baby up and NOW...I see this! I'm so inspired!! Your work is amazing and you bring every thing to life. Mason jar lids are one of my favorite things to work with and yours are just STUNNING!
Thanks so much for all your inspiration this holiday season.

WOW Cherry!!! I totally LOVE these projects!! I have seen a few of the Mason lid ornaments on the blogs this year. What a great idea to be able to use some dimension.

The project with the textured fence and Santa is AMAZING!! I can see why you love finding those little lost items and putting them to use in your art. You have a VERY CREATIVE mind. You did a Fantastic job adding the fence to your project.

Thanks for being a part of the blog hop this year. Hope you can do it again next.
Merry Christmas and best wishes for the New Year!
