That is what we have. It has been below zero here the last couple of days...snow and just plain freeezzzzzzzzng temperatures. I had the choice between housework...and crafting. Which do you think I chose? Wanted to share a JOLLY little project with you tonight. I had my husband cut some wood into blocks...they are not perfect by any regard, which is the way I wanted them. I than went to work covering them in scrap book paper and some fun embellies. My friend came over Friday evening and shared some vinyl with me...we used my cricket to cut some words out of it. It cost next to nothing and is keeping me from going crzyyyyyy. As for my husband, child, cat, and dog....can't speak for them. Night, night. cherry

What a wonderful project! I'd love to do crafting with you, Cherry, because I know you'd inspire me (as you always do with your posts)!
You have a Cricket??? I've been wanting one of those...I watch the infomercials all of the time...I've walked by them numerous times and wanted to badly to have one...maybe if Santas reading this he'll send one my way.
I also wanted to thank you for leaving me the nicest comments on my blog...you're a sweetheart, Cherry!
How perfectly ADORABLE!
How lovely!
That is so fun! Aren't cricuts amazing...gotta get me one of those!
Don't you just love that Cricut machine. I am getting the most use out of it. I just started my second vinyl project last night. I'll post it today. Kind of along the same lines as your "jolly" blocks but a little different. I wish I could find the vinyl in more colors though. Makes for inexpensive crafting and gifting. Love your creation.
Cherry you always make everything look soooooo easy and fun to make! Girl, you need to stay bundled up and have a cup of hot chocolate in your hand at all times. Brrrrrrr!
So adorable! Have a jolly Christmas!
Cherry I love that craft for sure.... What a jolly idea... LOL LOL Glad you find really cool things to do when it is soooooo cold outside... Have a great day

Love it.... must have wood blocks to make your cute "jolly". What a great way to spend a cold evening. Just crafty greatness!
Those blocks are adorable!!! I love them. Reminds me of some NOEL ones my mom has that she made at this craft workshop we went to way back many years ago. She still puts them out every year☺ Yours are so whimsical and cute!
Fabulous! Love it!
What a cute idea! I am falling inlove with that ribbon...so cute!...did you decopauge (sp) that paper on the sides?...I also need to find out what a cricket is....thanks for sharing. Cindy

Hi Cherry! Just adorable; love the different bows too! I was wondering how those cricket machines worked and I see they do a great job! I may ask for one for birthday???? Hope it is getting warmer for you - Sincerely, Jeannette

Oh my--I am catching up on all your wonderful projects you have had going on and I just love them all! You are so creative! As always you have made so many impressive things for the holidays!
LOve it! Now come and check out my plastic Santas from yesterday's post and give me some ideas.
Too cute for words! You always get the details just right. A little tag here, a little sparkel there. I learn so much by observing your craftiness. Great job!
I love those! So pretty. It has been cold where I live too. We got nine inches of snow this morning. I have to go shovel...but I think I'll have to craft instead. Great job!
OMG those are SO pretty!! I wish I was that creative when I'm bored! LOL
Merry Christmas!

Hi. Thanks for stopping by my page. Love your blog. I know how you feel about having cabin fever. We just had an ice storm here & were without power & just finally got our tv, phone & computer back today. 5 days without it was hard.
I love the JOLLY, especially the green bows. Really an eyecatcher! Hope some warm air comes your way soon. Its supposed to be in the 50's here in Roanoke tomorrow. have a crafty evening.

Cherry - you are too good girl. That is such a simple but absolutely darlin' idea. I've been thinkin' about gettin' a cricket - I think now, it is definitely a must. Thanks so much for your constant inspiration. Merry Christmas
TOO cute!!!!!
Ok, I've seen your blog several times, but this is my first time to leave a comment. You are amazing..do you come up with these great ideas all on your own??? I need some of that creativity to rub off on me! I'm thinking I need to head out to Hobby Lobby right now and try to make some of those little guys!
Wow those came out so cute! I go crazy if I am inside too long but I don't know that I could whip up something that crafty no matter how long I was stuck indoors!
Hugs,
Dena
