Boy o Boy

Sure do wish I knew what I was doing....but I don't. I have made a train wreck of this blog....trying to give it a new look...on my own. HA! In the process losing my whole list of fave blogs.... so that will start over rover. If you want to be on my blog roll..leave me a jingle here on this post. I am still getting over this whole head thing....I thought it ws allergy but now think it is a head cold.....that lingers. I have several posts to share....made a bulletin board today..I will show you the before tonight....the after will have to be tomorrow. The frame was free...it was 10.00 at St. vincent BUT I had a full stamped card....for 10.00 free merchandisde. It is old, real wood, and beat up to just the perfect distressed chipiness. I sprayed it white today...so guess what color my nose hairs are???? Well........remaining true to form....I will leave you with the frame....and what else??? A few things added to the store....come back tomorrow if you want to see the finished product. Heyyyy anyone want to trade Halloween goodies for help with this blog???? Give me a jingle... cjubilee@q.com Heyyyyy Darlene email with your address on the banner.

That frame is gorgeous! And the blog doesn't look like you have messed it up? What are you trying to do?

Wish I could help with the 'design-stuff'. I'm sure you've noticed that the ONLY thing I do to mine is change the Header photo with the seasons...now that's what I call high-tech! Hee-hee!
Your adorable plaque arrived safe and sound. Thanks so much. I showed off a pic of it in my last post. Hope mine found its way to your place safely, too. The whole shipping thing makes me a nervous wreck, worrying about damage and loss. Hope you're feeling a little better each day.

It is always frightening trying to change the blog look isn't it? I've use a few sites - I agree with the earlier comment about The Cutest Blog on the Block - they do have some great tips. I got my background from Backgroundfairy.com. if that is any help. I would love to remain on your blog roll - www.mockingbirdhillcottage.blogspot.com

Hang in there!

For your header you need to take it to paint or another photo editing and put your text on it there and then set it to post instead of your typed text in your header box. I did that on my current Halloween header. As for loosing your blog list not sure. Did you change your template? Sorry you are having so much trouble. Hope I at least helped with your header!
Hugs, Lisa

Oh, you poor thing; well, at least you know when to stop and ask for help! That's a great skill in and of itself! I wanna be on your list of reads, if you'll have me: indulgeyourshelf.blogspot.com

Hi Cherry, I can help you some if you want - I did my blog all by myself - I'm just good at following tutorials! LOL

My only problem might be time - my daughter's basketball games are about to start, so I'm going to be a little more busy for a while, but I will have some time to help!!

Just holler if you want me to help, so far I've been able to do everything I wanted to my blog - and I've helped a few others with theirs.

~TidyMom

PS- if you have time, can you swing by my blog and leave a comment to help me win a new Samsung Washer & Dryer? LOL

All of your Halloween decorations are wonderful, and you've inspired me to go all out with my decorations this year! I love Halloween so much!
I'm contemplating remodeling my blog too, but I'm too scared! It will have to wait until my daughter comes home from college for Christmas, before I will attempt it! Good luck with yours!
P.S. I would LOVE to be on your blog roll!

I love where you are going with the new look. I wish that I could help, but it took me HOURS just to do the most ridiculously simple changes to mine.

I love your new creations (as always) & the frame. Can't wait to see it in one of your vignettes.

Oh Cherry Girl....wish I could come over and help. The truth is we all are learning as we go. I've learned so much by asking questions too. I know many gals will help you get where you need to get....Be patient with your self...as we all understand and wonder where certain things go when they leave our blog suddenly. I too get my backgrounds from Background Fairy....but that is it.
Blessings,
Debbie

You are a girl after my own heart -- my favorite holiday is Halloween. I, too, go the easy route for blog design - choosing a ready-made template from Cutest Blog on the Block. They are fantastic. I have been on a blog hiatus this summer due to some health issues. I'd love to be added to your blogroll (You're on mine.), as I attempt to revive my blog.

Oh Cherry - I think it looks good - you didn't mess up anything. Besides, you are so gifted- you'll figure it all out. I love all your Halloween "stuff". I know I've told you a bunch of times - but - you are the most creative person with paper I've ever met(via the web that is). You amaze me! Good luck with everything and I hope you feel better. And yes, please put me back on the "roll". Cathy
