Pop's Day!

Father's Day is coming up....can't believe it is already the 8th of June.  My son and I spent a quiet day at home...he read while I made cards.  It was nice.  It is another windy rainy day ...so perfect weather for staying inside.  I have to say I really enjoyed making these for my store.  I thought the darker colors and more masculine vibe would be hard to create with...but I kinda dug it.  Love adding the texture to these type of cards to add depth....burlap was of course the natural choice.  Adding bits of vintage nostalgia was fun too.   So this is my share for the day.   I am linking this post to the Shabby Tea Room's challenge post this week http://www.theshabbytearoom.blogspot.com/     This is my first time linking to a card challenge.   Hugs to you all, Cherry

Adore them both for different reasons. The first one, what texture! The second, pure sweetness!

Hi,
Can you tell me where you found the vintage baseball images, especially the pitcher and umpire? I also was wondering where you find some of the patriotic pieces.
I love, love your work! I wish I was that creative.
Thanks,
Kathy
