My love for whimsy

It is Saturday evening...we have just come back from a big night on the town.  A jaunt to the local Dairy Queen for chocolate dipped icecream cones and onion rings.  YES ....we live BIG.  Our little town here rolls up the carpet around 6:00.  It's an exciting life.  So you can see how creating cards can make one sane.  It truly is a form of entertainment for this square girl.  While classic sophisticated cards maybe more popular with many card lovers....I tend to love shabby (duh, really?) little whimsical creations.  I never tire of polka dots...I seem to always gravitate towards them even when I am trying NOT too.  Uhhh oh well there are worse addictions in life. Right?
Well  here are some of my latest silly little fancies.  OHH how I wish I could sit on the moon like that little girl above!  How about you?  What if you really could talk to the man on the moon?  If anything else it puts a smile to my face.  Hopefully they will you too!   Have yourself a whimsical weekend my friends!  Thanks for the comments on my last post.   Hugs to you all, Cherry

I like the same things you do (polka dots, whimsy, shabby, vintage, and yes evne a DQ dipped cone - yum!) that is why I'm so drawn to your blog to see what lovely things you are creating. You inspire me so much! It's aways an extra special treat to see you back again so soon. Have a lovely day!

I love the spring card... makes me feel hopeful. It was snowing again as we came home from church tonight... and we too stopped at DQ. Bet my town is smaller than yours.
Keep posting... I always look for yours first.

Wonderful creations. I love your 'shabby' style. The image of the boy and bunny is just the sweetest. I can tell you're thinking of Spring.
