Hi everyone! Wednesday brings a post I have to share with you for TRC I have been in the mood for making mothers day cards and these remind me of the nostalgic feeling that a mother brings. Her sewing, crafting, housekeeping. My first card used the Give momma some love stamp set. Love the sweet little detail to the word Mom. I colored it in with a Tim Holtz distress marker. I embellished the sentiment further with a couple of cotton candy jellie dots. I created my wreath from little berry twigs and simply wrapped then around each other until I got the circle size I wanted. I added a little wooden heart and wood house to signify home and heart.
My other card is retro in style . I used the new script background with gorgeous Parisian wording. I stamped it onto my painted dress form lightly and distressed it a bit. I also used it as my background paper a bit for detail. I of course used more jellie dots for the necklace. I layered my dress form with an old vintage sewing elastic card with the perfect blue and pink retro colors. Hope you have enjoyed and are inspired to make your mama something special. hugs, cherry

Sweet, vintage cards! Gives me a warm, cozy feeling.
Such pretty cards! My mum is a sewer too, happy memories of home made dresses which I sadly never appreciated at the time.
SUCH sweet cards, Cherry! Love the soft and sweet style for mom cards. The wreath you made is so cute. Love the wooden elements and how you did the sentiment. And the detailed dress form is really fabulous, too!
