Happy Memorial Day

    Hope you had a good one....just a short and sweet entry ...couple cards I made.  I am gaga for butterflies.  I can't get enough of them.   All shapes and sizes.  Of course we all love dress forms....I can't afford the real thing, so this is as close as it gets.   We were able to break out the fire pit today and roasted hot dogs and marshmellows.   It doesn't feel like Summer yet..but maybe if we act like it is the season will follow suit.   Well blessings to you all.....have a wonderful end to your long weekend.  hugs, cherry

Sweets on Sunday

Hello.....I bet you are all having fun this Memorial day weekend.....eating hot dogs maybe...hanging with family....kicking off the Summer.   It has been snowing here..can you believe it?  Krazzzzzzzzzzzzee.  O well...good card making weather.   I have a few to share.  All in soft hues of pink...polka dots, butterflies, and little girls and kittens.  How can that not make you all warm and fuzzy?  Hope you enjoy!  Have a wonderful Memorial Day tomorrow!  hugs, cherry

Sunday eve....

Sunday eve and the sun has just set...I love the extra time in the day.  I made a few cards today using Crafty Secrets new digital  cd Creating with Vintage Patterns which will be out at the end of May.  The soft aqua damask, vintage rose wallpaper style pattern, and the soft pink flourish background papers are all from the cd.  I am in love with these patterns...and have found a new love for digital images in general.  So fun, versatile, and quick to use!  I really just wanted to make a few cards that were full of heart...expressions that make you smile.   It lifts my spirits and eases my mind to let this craft let me wander a bit.    I hope you enjoy!  Happy Sunday eve!  hugs, cherry

Bloom and grow forever..

I love that sentiment...and even more perfect with these sweet gardening images.....perfect for today!  Why?  Because of the delectible sunshine....it came out...and it stayed and stayed.  sigh.......... a few of our flowers are peeking out amongst the earth and our mama bird is in a tailspin feeding her little ones.  I LOVE this time of year.  I used cottage colors today...bright and happy..full of life.  A few gardening cards using new to me sentiments from Papertrey..and a butterfly card...I can't get enough of the butterflies.  They remind me of my grandmother.  She love them and so do I.  Lastly another chipboard house.  Love embellishing them.  Not unlike playing house for fun.  None of the chores just the fun hanging the curtains part.  Well my loves... I am going to go.  Tomorrow I get to go to the big town for groceries and maybe a few fun scrapbooking items.  I have been home all week.  Looking forward to it!  Hugs, cherry

under a rock

              Well jeessse...I must be living under a rock..I didn't know blogger was acting up.  Kinda glad I didn't because I am sure I would have been pulling my hair right along with you.   Thanks for the letting this broad know!  I played around with my stamps today....just some sweet simple designs.  Some were old and some were new stamp sets...so glad I let my fears go and just had fun.  I need to play with them more.  so versatile.  I used color combos of greens and yellows..and than tried raspberries with greens....and than blue and red.   So many cmbos and so little time.   The last two I just had throw in....a shabby sweet card using Crafty Secrets images and a fun butterfly card.   I LOVE the butterfly card...and those patchwork patterns on them!    I am going to go...I plan to visit some of you!  hugs to you, cherry

Where is everyone?

It is a ghost town around here?   Is it blogger?   I came by to share just a few cards this evening.  I decided to use this image of a memorial day type image from Crafty secrets using nontraditional patriotic colors...I like the soft colors..aquas and peachy pinks...love the children in the image.   The other two I really like how they turned out...using tattered angel chipboard letters..a little different for me.  I wont keep you any longer...if anybody comes by that is.   Puzzled?    hugs, cherry
