Wednesday's witch

Another little witch I am sharing this morning!   Love this little vintage frame I put her in!  I used ribbons from my stash and of course RRR.   I used Graphic 45 paper and a fun little prim rusty star I found at Hobby Lobby.  I also parted with a very old vintage black button that worked perfectly in the center of my bows.  Well short but sweet I hope.....lots to do today!  Hugs, cherry

Which Witch is which.....

It is Tuesday and it is hot and very smoky here.  Fires every which way.  Hard to go outside which I guess makes it easier to sit and craft.   I created a couple of witchy little confections for RRR.   They reminded me of the Scooby Doo episode "which witch is which".   I love spooky ole witches....and what better than an actual hat done up prim style and a sweet Victorian witch ornament.  I had this chipboard witch hat from last year...painted and distressed it.  I added 2 1/2 cotton blend ribbon which I wrapped around and tied a big chunky bow too.  From here I wrapped metal wire stars around it, along with a hand stamped tag tied on with burlap strink in natural, burlap leaves,  a felt rose, and glitter ball.   My ornament is made from chipboard and is covered in Graphic 45 papers.  I added vintage black lace, 2 1/2 inch cotton blend ribbon in plain, and burnt rust seam binding.   I have my ornament hanging from black licorice twine.   That is it!  A little spooky and a little elegant with the black and white color schemes.   Hope you enjoy!  Cherry

Autumn challenge at RRR!

I can feel Autumn coming.  Can you?  It is getting colder in the mornings here.  With Fall coming on, it is the perfect time to start in on those seasonal cards.  We have the perfect challenge over at the RRR blog for that.  I created two cards since I missed out on the RRR blog hop.  The first one I have ever missed.  I used several ribbons from this month's ribbon club.  I used the plaid ribbon in moss/cream , satin with grosgrain edge in turftain brown, and Debra Natural Crochet lace.   I also used a bit of 2 1/2 cotton blend in plain that I ripped up into small widths to embellish my grapevine pumpkin.  I love Fall colors, they inspire me!  Hope you enjoy and check out all the girl's inspiration!   hugs, cherry

Rustic Farmhouse

Hello!  Missed you all at the RRR blog hop!  My computer came down sick with a virus and some lovely spyware/malware.  Just got it back today and popped in to share another fun little galvanized envelope decked out in rustic touches.   I used a couple of simple vintage touches...a bingo chip and vintage milk cap with the last of my gingham washi tape.  I used lipstick red seam bindingcotton blend 2 1/2 inch plain ribbon that I ripped in half, and a bit of cherry twine.  That is it!  Very simple and oh so farmhouse!  Two of my favorite things!  Happy Saturday!  cherry

Baby boy and girl cards...

Happy Monday!  Got lots going on!  I have a vintage vendor booth that I am working on.  Painting furniture like a mad woman.  Thought I would pop in to share a couple of baby cards made for RRR.   It is always good to have a few premade cards for someone's new addition.  My first uses Pebbles goodies along with plaid ribbon in gray.  My little girl card , naturally more soft and feminine uses Bella Carte goodies along with seam bindings in baby pink and rose.   I also used a bit of 2 1/2 inch cotton blend in natural ribbon.  Always fun to do baby cards and goodies!  Hope you enjoy!  hugs, cherry
