Pink lovelies...

Hello folks..... I won't lie, I am in a dismal mood.  It has been raining for days.  I joke not.  Been in craft room a lot lately.  It is the only thing that keeps me sane right now! Thought I would pop in with a fun little creation I tinkered with today.  I found a bag of commercial creamers at an estate sale and paired them with my little pink trees.  So happy they found a place to nestle.

Today is was all about the pink ......apparently.  I broke into some beautiful Petaloo blooms.

I swear they were oldies if I didn't no better......lovely vintage quality.

I used some antique rhinestone buttons from my stash.......a stash ever growing.  I never seem to want to part with them...

Little hand stamped sentiments and beautiful RRR seam binding.

Little glittered balls.....along with vintage glass buttons......they look like crystal balls....so pretty.

And my friends....that is about it.  I am going to go eat a muffin.....a pumpkin muffin.  Maybe that will lift my spirits!  hugs, Cherry

A Merry Christmas

Hello there RRR fans!  Cherry here to share a project.  I have had plenty of time to create lately.  The weather has been horrific.  So inside I stay.  One of my favorite things to create are little plaques, signs...anything I can alter.  This one has oodles of cuteness.

I used acyrlic rhinestones and bead berry sprays in red to adorn my layered goodies.

Love all that sugary goodness!  Don't you?

To hang my plaque I wound shimmer satin in poppy red through the plaque and made my bows.  I just love this.....I am sure because of the red and gingham!  Hope you enjoy, Cherry

Count your Blessings

Helllllo paper peeps!  Cherry here to share some Fall creations made for Petaloo ....I love this time of year.  The colors turning into darker warmer tones.  Being inside my house nesting and baking.  Nothing better!  Also add crafting to that list.  With all the rain I have been lucky to steal snatches of time back in the craft room.   A couple of Thanksgiving cards....using textured blooms, burlap leaves, ribbons and more!!

Orange you glad it's Autumn?

Hi folks!  There is a fun new challenge over at the RRR blog!  It is an "Orange you glad it is Autumn" challenge.  Fun, fun, fun!  Hope you will join us.....anything Fall themed as long as you use orange.  It gave me a chance to sneak in one more Halloween goody before the holiday is gone.

Also good excuse to use a wee bit more Authentique Mysterious collection before I put it away.

I used a mixture of black and orange seam binding along with Baker's Twine in black diamond metallic.  This is new twine and I love it!  I added some fun feathers from a feather boa.

Well that is it for me!  Enjoy...and join us in the challenge!  Hugs, Cherry

So very Thankful

Hello to you Petaloo peeps!  Cherry here to share a Fall greeting.  You know those cards that are special?  You really put a lot of time getting each bit and bob just right.  This is one of those cards for me.  I used special antique buttons on her, from my favorite button stash.  You know that stash?  Right? The one that you always think...no not this time.  This button needs to be used on just the right thing.  I centered "that oh so special" button right in the center of a gorgeous textured bloom. The combination is perfect!  I am loving the soft greys and creams for Thanksgiving.

A little stitching and hand stamping for a personal touch.  I added a few goodies to the inside as well, including blooms from the Darjeeling collection.

Something to make you smile

I had to come in and share this sweet precious little guy with you. A small little soul all decked out in his choir uniform.  I think of him as a wee one....ready for his school christmas pagent.  He is on his way but gets a bit sidetracked with the woodland creatures along the way.

I nestled him into the center and surrounded him with bottlebrush trees and Petaloo blooms

gorgeous ribbons and berries from RRR.  Along with some vintage tinsel.

I did a crackled finish on the metal mason lid for fun.  Than I aged it with wax.

I just love how this turned out.......sooo sweet and special  Enjoy, Cherry

season greetings

Happy Sunday evening.  Hope your weekend was good.  Lots of crafting has been done in my little world so I thought I would share a little something.

Using plenty of goodies from my Christmas stash along with ribbons from RRR.

Love using old lids...especially these zinc lids.  Something so perfectly farmhouse about them.

Of course ginghams had to be used with that metal.....makes me so happy!

Well that is it for me....enjoy!  Hugs, Cherry

Through the woods...

Hey there paper peeps!  Cherry here popping in with a post for RRR.  We have had rain and wind storms the last two days, perfect weather for crafting (as long as the electricity doesn't go out).  I created a card and ornament...full of holiday cheer.

I just love using any little container...lids, mini tart pans,  you name it...I'll use it!  Several RRR goodies were used including Grass and red lipstick seam binding.  Also a few White spiral stamens.

Thanks for stopping by......enjoy!  Hugs, Cherry
