Cheery Lynn Blog Hop Time

Monday???  Yes it is..but a happy one!! It's time for a Cheery Lynn Blog Hop!!!!
We have some awesome new dies to share.....I couldn't be more inspired by them.  All about the Fall, Winter, and Holidays.  You should have found your way here from Lisa's blog.  A random lucky person will win a 20.00 gift certificate to the Cheery Lynn store!

Here are my creations.  Two fun holiday cards.  I will be using the cute card (Bringing Home Christmas) die a lot this year.  I LOVE it!!!  I diecut the tree part twice for fun.  On my other card I actually used the same tree by layering it three times to create a "forest" in front of the new gorgeous Aspen Forest A2 background Die.

I added some fun details using the Tag #2 set , using it for my sentiment and adding the cute little mini tree from the new Fun with Sweaters  set.

I added details using the Eyelet border, Pierced Stackers #3 XL set of 6, and the Joy to the World 3 piece die set.  So many dies....so little time people!!!

Okay folks your next stop is to Bonnie's Blog.  Have fun being inspired!!!  Cherry

Hello My Friend

Happy Sunday my fellow paper peeps!  It is my day at the Cheery Lynn Blog
Holding on to Summer as long as I can. We still have some flowers left blooming.  With that I have a bright happy floral card to share using the Flourishing flower shaker diecut.

I layered it with both the Distressed Honeycomb diecut (which I layered twice) and the French Pastry Doily diecut.

I added leaves using the Rose Leaf diecut and
added a stamped sentiment  with the Nesting Doll Tag #2 set.

altered candy box for Gypys Soul Laser Cuts

Hi folks!  I have a post up today over at the Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts.

I first assembled it and painted it with black chalk paint.

I than covered the main areas with pattern paper.

From here I used a nail file to sand the edges and distress it.

Than wrapped the piece with ribbons and a painted key that will soon be added to the store.
From there I added my image, a vintage glittered frame, and the keyhole. I also added a cute knob to the drawer.  Here it is finished.

Quilt Sewing Pocket

Hello folks!  My day at the Gypsy Soul Laser Cuts Blog

I created a paper pocket.  I have created many of these through the years.  All you do is fold your paper in half and fold and stitch up the sides.  This is a sewing/quilt them pocket.

I layered the pocket with papers and a pink doily and than started adding in more embellishments.
I used the Flourished Heart frames and 5 Petal Flowers with Flourishes which will be coming soon to the store.

I used a white chalkboard paint pen to white wash the chipboard.

I love the worn faded look it gives.

Here it is all done!

Hallow's Eve

Happpppppppy Saturday ya'll!  Got a shabby ...every so slightly Halloweeny card for you.
I found these sweet grapevine style mini pumpkins and thought it would make a cute card.

I used vintage crochet lace along with Juliet Natural Crochet Lace and 2 1/2 inch cotton blend ribbon  that I ripped into smaller pieces and frayed.

I love the soft burnt oranges and browns in this.

Hope you enjoy!  Cherry
