Enjoy Friend...

Craving a little vintage loving today first off a old fashion card....I blended cheerful yellows, teals, and a bit of black.  Loving this color combination.   Papers are oldies but goodies, as are the diecuts.   The pocket can be used to tuck a gift card into..or even a little note.  I added Bay Leaf seam binding along with a gorgeous vintage rhinestone button.   At the bottom a bit of washi tape and vintage lace.
My other projects are the prettiest vintage clip earrings that I just had to do something with!  I created a couple of fun birthday tags,  keeping with the soft yellows and creams.  I added vintage crochet doilies, vintage seam bindings, just in love with these!  Hope you enjoy!  Hugs, cherry

sending sweet wishes...

Happy Monday to you!  I am yet again breaking out an old stamp set!  This time Wplus9.  Cutest strawberries ever.   I created a cute strawberry border at the bottom along with the sentiment.  Added gingham papers, chalkboard tag, diecut stamped strawberries, and of course RRR ribbons.  Perfect Summer birthday card!  Enjoy and happy Summer!  Cherry

Challenge at RRR!

TGIF!!!!!!!!!  AND it is a challenge day over at RRR!!!   This time it is a Hot Sizzlin Summer challenge.   I broke out a very old PTI stamp set, "Button Bits"...my first one ever bought. I used the cute little hot air balloon image.  I used both the satin swiss dots ribbon and the Molly white crochet lace to edge my card.  I used some diecuts for dimension and my papers used are a digital set from Etsy.  Hope you enjoy!   Hugs, Cherry

Polka dot sweetness...

Hello to you, hope your Summer is starting off good!  Popping in to share this little pincushion I made.    I don't know about you...but polka dots make me swoon.   I had to use this big gorgeous bloom on this sweet sachet/pincushion I sewed .   It was the perfect topper!  I layered it with a vintage lace hankie along with some lipstick seambinding and a bit of cherry twine.  Topped it off with a vintage rhinestone and a stamped tag.  LOVE the red and dots!   Hope you do too.    Thanks for visiting, Cherry

RRR blog hop!!!!

Time for a fun blog hop with RRR!!!  You should have made your way here from Kathy's blog.   If at anytime you get lost along the way, start back at the RRR blog.   Fun Summer colors in this month's ribbon club assortment.  I was going to go bright...but for some reason ended up going rather soft.  I had this sweet bicycle image that I wanted to use and just let that take the lead. It says Merci so I made a little fry box as well , along with the card, as a thank you.   I used the gingham on both projects, just  love the sweet Plaid ribbon in pink in this collection.    I also used Baby Pink seam binding.   I softened the bicycle wheels with a couple of sweet Sweet heart blossoms in pink.   Well that is it for me.....your next stop is back at the RRR blog!  Have fun folks!                                                                                                          Cherry

4th of July party

Hello and good morn!   I have some candy cones made for RRR.  I took some mini cones painted them with red chalk board paint, distressed, and than waxed them for aging.  I added some simple little embellishments...cupcake liners to the inside, stars, buttons and pearls, and cherry twinelipstick red seambindingplaid ribbon in red to use for handles and bows.  I also used a bit of vintage navy seambinding.  These will be use to fill with candies or would be sooooo cute hanging from a Patriotic tree or mantle!   Hope you enjoy, Cherry
