Little of this and a little of that....

GCD STUDIOS....

              Some of my fave journal tags from GCD STUDIOS.........when I started playing they kinda took over...these sweet images.   The little chick....wanted fresh vibrant colors....so I used the Homespun chic line....this line has such wonderful double sided papers....and a wonderful texture.    The 1950s darling...reminded me of one of my barbie dolls from when I was wee.  I had to go shabby with her.  She told me too!  I also used one of the recipe cards from the Homespun chic line as a background to the journal tag.   These lines never fail to inspire me!   Hope they inspire you too!  Xoxo, Cherry

Boo!

            THAT should have alerted you to this post!  In case you wanted to stay away from Halloween!  STill having fun with this holiday...although I have gotten some Christmas things out as well to play with....eeeeeeeek!  Tonight more cards...a mini banner spelling Halloween....love these little tiny pendants...and several sweet chipboard tags.  LOVE DOING TAGS!  Come back tomorrow for my GCD Studios post....I promise a couple of Summer cards to share.   Short and sweet tonight...I have a big day of grocery shopping etc in the big town....everytime it is 40 miles one way...takes a toll.       Off to bed.   Xoxox, cherry

Glitter glitter.........

               I have fallen into the witches cauldron.....lock, stock, and barrel I am afraid.   Once the black glitter came out....it was all over.   Will I revisit Summer a bit in crafting?  I am sure.  But oh how this heart loves a holiday.  Toppings of vintage velvet ribbons in orange, buttons in all shapes and sizes, ruffely crepe paper.........oh what bliss!  Brings out the child in me.  Won't you play along?    OHHH and that is BABY B up above this afternoon.   Aka.....Bailey.   My baby B......what a sweetheart...and he kinda goes along with the Halloween theme.   Had to share.    Ok my darlings......I am off to take a shower...my son beat me royally at badminton this eve.   Hugs to you all, cherry

Boyyyyyyyyy Howdy!

August 1st?   huh?   I say that as if I didn't have a Halloween card RIGHT ABOVE  ME....NOOO I am not trying to rush time....just the opposite.  I just am sooo smitten for holidays....love the fall colors and fun imagery.  As usual just another motley crue of cards...where ever inspiraton might lead...I try to follow.  Been having fun using a stash of vintage goodies....using them for toppings on my cards.   Rhinestones and some vintage style ladies from the cover of an old home journal.    We have some trips coming up that I am soooo looking forward too.  Hopefully all of you get to get away for a day or two....Summer is sooo brief here in the northwest.  I am crossing my fingers for an indian summer............sigh.    Well this Sunday like so many others has dwindled down..... and I feel myself dwindling down with it.  Off to read a good book and snuggle with my boy (yes he still lets me on occasion) hugs to you all and have a great Monday!   Xoxox,  Cherry
