I have entered into the sweet yellow rose contest...

Hosted by Polly at ... . http://countingyourblessings.blogspot.com/. She is giving away a beautiful vintage umbrella with what else? Yellow roses of course. I so love that umbrella.....I could sleep with it...yes I could! It is judged by http://backthroughtime.blogspot.com/. Which is an awesome blog....check out the camper decked in cherries and lucious red. Now I discovered something that was kinda neat about this whole idea. It really brought the creativity out! When you are limited in what you can use....and I definately was (I had only a few things with yellow roses) you have to find different ways to display the same things. I kinda think this would be cool to do on a weekly basis using something different each week. Of course we could take turns sponsering the winner's gift. Anyways....this was really fun and different. Thank-you gals for coming up with this....it was cool using a lot of yellow. I am having some tech. difficulties and will not be able to post anymore pics...my dang computer! Hope this is enough for now. I am on dial up and it is really is frustrating. I hope this gets in on time......cherry

I love the rose tucked in the pocket! You were very creative with your pictures. I think we all realized that we don't have many yellow roses around (except fortheloveofyellowroses, she's got them like mad!) I've decided that I definitely want more of them - they really enhance the other colors. It would be fun to do this again with another color or topic. Are you volunteering to be the next host? =) Blessings... Polly

Your yellow roses are so lovely. My favorite is the picture of the rose in the straw hat. Straw hats are a passion of mine:)

Love the roses on the straw hat. I kept a straw hat with flowers on it hanging from the newell post all summer long just 'cause I liked the look. Time to take it down now. I will miss it. Your photos are all so sweet. ~ Lynn

Hi Cherry! Is it you that requested a logo banner from me? I hope I have the right cherry! my contact info has been sort of sketchy, I think I have fixed it by adding a link to my email on my blog. Let me know if I'm in contact with the correct cherry! amy

I love your yellow rose photos and I don't even really care for yellow roses that much. I'm a pink rose gal as you know. Maybe I have converted.
