I love it when I discover something old and lovely in my thrifting adventures...and make use of it in a new way! I recently found some antique belt buckles and have had fun using them in unique ways on my cards. My first impulse was to hoard this ceramic type one...it is crackled and the perfect shade of cream...love it. Had to pair it with my fave color combo lately....springy greens and lavender. Sooo yummy. I also found the angels...they are old cake decorations! I glittered this one and added a bit of ink to it. I like how it looks like she/he is really contemplating something very near and dear to their heart. I thought the sentiment fit perfectly with that. Last but not least I found some neat old vintage clip earrings. Very nostalgic and old fashion. The shades of pink are so soft and sweet.
