Hodge podge

No particular theme today....just a lot of yummy candy colors...cotton candy pinks, robins egg blue, old fashion lilac.....sigh.   So I have a bit of ADD when it comes to colors.  I LOVE them all.  I even tried a little bit of fuschia with that big luscious bloom.  Soooo Springy.  It rained today...and I was a good girl this morning..got my chores done.  I evened scrubbed our shower stall.  YUCK.  This afternoon I got to play.  No better day to play than when it rains.  The first card was done for an etsy customer for her mama..she wanted something pink and with a gardening theme.  The next two cards I got out my favorite banner stamps from pinkpersimmon and made a pendant card and a banner card.  I found these cute little wooden finials at JoAnns and painted them up and used them on the banner card.  I like the way it looks with the "banner" hanging from them.  The next one I finally broke out my Oct. Afternoon wild cards..I thought the mother and little girl was fitting for mothers day.   I got to play with a new wrinkle ribbon I got today in the mail with the sweetest name...sweet pea from this shop.  She has some of the prettiest variations in her ribbons...and she has 30 percent off in her store right now.  I also have been having fun using some new little bits and bobs I got from this store.  LOVE Henny!  She has the prettiest pretties in her store front.   Well that is it from me...hope you don't mind my hodge podge this evening.  Just can't help myself...kinda all over the place.  I am going to go watch a movie and go night night.  But first a cuddle with my kitten.  He is giving me that look!  hugs, cherry

Stunning cards, every one of them! But I expected no less. I haven't been by here in a while so I thought I would stop in and catch up on all you've been doing since my last visit. I really don't recall the exact date of that visit but I can tell that you have been very busy in the craft room! Your work is so inspiring to me and it always lifts my spirits to browse through your wonderful creations. Have a super weekend!

Hello, dear Cherry! Everything is just as beautiful as ever! If you ever have a moment and don't mind sharing--I love that embossed looking oval frame, and I have seen some other rectangular frame-type embellishments you have used recently that I really like but haven't seen anywhere--wondered if you would share the little secret of what they are and/or where they can be found. I also really love the PP Artisan Elements you and others have used recently but those seem really hard to come by. I do appreciate your visits to my humble little blog. I am inspired by your work like no other paper crafter, and it means so much that you take the time to visit and encourage!! Looking forward to your next post!! (no pressure!!;)
