Happy Thanksgiving....

I just wanted to pop in with a Happy thanksgiving and many blessings to you all!  I thought I would share this "memory keeper" album I have been working on.  I started with Tattered Angels chipboard that I inked and sanded...and than started adding bits and bobs too.  Papers from Graphic 45 and Canvas Corps...and others I forget.  I added some of my polka dot recipe cards that I stitched up so they would be perfect for tucking in notes and memories of this Christmas to come or from years gone by.  Several kraft envelopes from Maya Road embellished with tinsels, poinsettias and more.  I had a lot of fun embellishing this....and know there will be more of these in my future.    Hope you enjoy!  night night,c herry

It's snowing....

It's snowing....and the fire is glowing...and I am making cards....cards, cards, and more cards.  I can't help myself.  It is really quite sad....being that I virtually have no family to share these cards with....rofl.   We have a very small family.   O well it is allll good and it keeps me out of trouble and sane.  Sanity is good.   This weather kinda gets to me....I love sunshine..so I try to create it indoors with my paper and embellies. So please beware that I will be sharing quite a bit with you.  You really gotta like cards to visit this joint.   I also wanted to share that I am now officially on the Vintage Street Market  team.   I couldn't me more pleased!  I love their goodies...and the other ladies are full of talent..so I am kinda giddy to be apart of it.  Also I just noticed they are having a holiday sale in their store....you might want to check it out!  Well.......I am off to finish some custom orders for some special customers!  hugs and nighty night. cherry

softness......

I crave softness every now and again....a bit of girly girl fou fou.   Pastels...pinks, blues, yellows....especially as the Winter skies turn grey.   Are you with me???  Now that the clocks have turned back....our days grow darker faster and faster.   Bringing a bit of lightness to my creations is just what I need.   A few images from Glitz designs and the internet also inspired me to make these.   Funny how certain images speak to you....especially at certain times.  A few more additives....toppings...bits and bobs and I am done.  Hope you enjoy!    I am off to bed...tomorrow hope to create with some new christmas goodies....love new product!  Will share when done!  night night, cherry

The holidays are coming...

  Ohhhh yes they are....it is snowing here.....the air is crisp and oh soooo nippy.  Try 8 degrees nippy this morning.   yep.  So I am sooo getting in the mood for the holidays.  I popped in yet again to share some fun creations.....things that make me smile because I just dearly loved making them.   I started my paper crafting with banners....I don't do as many as I use to..they take some time...but I forgot how much I enjoy the process and the outcome.   I love the colors I used in this one....soft, subtle, and vintagey.  I topped it off with many layers...and lots of glitter.   I also am sharing a few cards made from Melissa frances  tags and envelopes.   Ohhh what fun these are to make.  The tags are large enough to make cute cards from them...and there is just someting about tucking it inside the pocket.  Makes me happy!  It is a hoot to add toppings to these....mini wreaths or candy canes...whatever suits you.   Many of the ones I find are from good ole Micheals.   Last but not least an altered plaque ...I think you know I love to make these.   I got some red vintage style tinsel through etsy and had to use it on this.   Again more toppings ....and a handmade rosette folded accordian style.   Rows of vintage buttons with twine...which I have used over and over again and never tire of.   Well that is it...hope it inspires you to maybe get your hands dirty with a little paper, glue, and glitter!    I will be back with an announcement I am excited about!  night, night, cherry

Guess what???

It is November and that means.........Cup Cards to Go is ready to share another scrumptious kit with us all!  This is our holiday kit and it has the sweet name SugarPlum....are they dancing in your heads yet?  I didn't have as much time with this kit since I was "out of dodge" so to speak..but I had some serious fun playing the last day or two.  Full of whimsy ....and holiday cheer.   You will also get the little tube you see decorated.  We were challenged to decorate it up.  It is perfect for some little goodies.....candy or a small trinket.  I chose to shabby mine up and also made a matching little card with it.   You will have a lot of fun...go check out the other girl's cards for inspiration...I can't wait to take a peek myself.   Hot dog...I love me a good card gallery!    Off I go!   night night, cherry
