Forever and a Day...

At least that is what it seems like to me...since I posted last. Son is doing better....poor guy had a fever, sore throat, achiness, (horrible congestion, thought you ought to know)and one night he vomited all over our bed ): Mother-in-law is leaving tomorrow. I did not mean to leave the impression that I don't like her....she just is what southerner's would say in hushed whispers...."eccentric". Some of the things she does gets on my nerves. She is a bit ...clearing throat.. uncivilized. But I digress..

I am not done with my Halloween projects....so glad I started early....insert sarcasm...because it really helped. Day late dollar short as usual. I thought I would show what I have been up to at night while mother-in-law watches her shows...."wheel of fortune"....etc. Little plaque "stocking feet please"...turned it into a little Hall0ween plaque. A little decorating taking place here and there. Keys to our underground dungeon...everyone should have at least one. Underground dungeon that is. The "Scaredy Cat" was made by the fantastic Rosemary over at http://rosespetitemaison.blogspot.com/ I adore him! I put out a few French flashcards....Afraid and Spirit...fitting for this season. I got a few new candles and burned one tonight....apple crumb cake...from Stephen's Candlery...the BEST CAKE CANDLES EVER. Hope to get the rest done over the weekend. Hope everyone is doing well this weekend night......we have had light snow flurries here....go figure! xoox, cherry

The fork is definitely my favorite part of it all. Well, it's a toss up between the fork and the skeleton keys. I've always had a fascination with skeleton keys! I really like your blog! I found you through a friend's blog.

I just want to tell you how very much I enjoyed looking at all of your wonderful projects and arrangements! My tired old eyes are crossing after two days filled with setting up, manning and loading up my booth for a sale I was just in (F and S). I make lots of stuff for my shows and resell castoffs---and after a tiring and wild couple of days, it was such a joy to slowing scroll through your wonderful photos--and escape!!
Hope your boy is feeling better by now--I recall days of sick little kiddos and it is soooo hard! I just hate it when I see my little gr. Daughter feeling miserable--she's 2 1/2 and has allergies that result in a bit of asthma at times (her dad--my son--had it pretty bad as a child). Anyway, I hope your son is all better.
My DIL asked for my help in making a H-Ween costume for my GR. Daughter---what fun!!! She wants her to be the Abby Ka Dabby character on S. Street (her name IS Abbey!)--so we have lots of brainstorming to do. It was so much easier when my kids were little and I decked them out in witch and clown costumes!! Not too creative, but effective! :)
Love all of your projects and I love the way your new page turned out!!! Dana
